Who Should Attend
This course is suitable if you require working with many projects together and or have responsibilities to oversee a number of inter-related projects.
Baselining: You will acquire the skills to effectively use baselines in Microsoft Project to establish a reference point for project performance measurement. This involves capturing the initial project plan, which can be used to track and compare progress against the original plan as the project unfolds. By using baselines, you can better control project scope, schedule, and costs.
Resource Pools: You’ll learn how to work with resource pools, which enable the efficient management and allocation of shared resources across multiple projects. This capability is especially valuable for organisations with resource constraints, as it allows for optimised resource utilisation and allocation.
Working with Multiple Projects: Participants will become proficient in working with multiple projects simultaneously within Microsoft Project. This includes skills such as combining multiple projects into a single view, coordinating dependencies between projects, and managing complex project portfolios.
Export to Excel: You will be able to seamlessly export project data, schedules, and reports to Microsoft Excel for further analysis and reporting. This skill is particularly useful for generating custom reports, sharing project information with stakeholders, and performing in-depth data analysis.
Baselining Projects: Learn how to establish a baseline for your project, which serves as a reference point for measuring and tracking progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Combining Projects: Understand techniques for combining multiple projects into a single view or file, enabling better coordination and management of interconnected initiatives.
Resource Pooling: Explore resource pooling methods to efficiently manage and allocate shared resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal resource utilisation.
Recurring Tasks: Learn how to set up and manage recurring tasks within your project plans, streamlining the handling of routine activities.
Reports: Master the generation and customisation of project reports, which provide valuable insights into project status, progress, and performance.
Templates: Create and utilise project templates to streamline the initiation and planning phases of new projects, saving time and ensuring consistency.

These follow up coaching sessions help support your colleagues to embed their learning during their skills transfer period. Applying new skills and changing behaviour takes effort and practice. After attending a training course many colleagues will find they need support through this transition. EQV can provide that support with follow up coaching sessions to help embed the learning.
Embedding coaching sessions can be delivered in 90 minute and half day durations. The facilitator will work with the group to capture feedback about challenges and how to overcome them ensuring success going forward.
Having a formal embedding coaching session will not only increase the success of the skills transfer period but helps create a platform of motivation, inclusivity and commitment within the group.
