Case Study – Excel VBA Sales Analyser

The project involved creating a spreadsheet to import global sales data and mark the company’s performance against its competitors around the world at a per product level. The data was then matched against key legal benchmarks at a per country level. The monthly process was fully automated via Excel VBA and advanced formula mathematics.

The analyser generated key reports to identify products not meeting the key legal benchmarks and those products that were marginal compliant. The analyser also had linked into key internal testing systems as well as shipping forecasts for additional enhanced reporting.

The final VBA spreadsheet was released in 3 flavours with adjustments for different business divisions within the organisation to meet their specific product and legal requirements.
