  • Within 7 days, create a written budget using the 50/30/20 framework or a debt repayment plan.
  • Identify one 'Low Value/High Cost' item in your spending and eliminate it this month.
  • Set up a monthly calendar reminder to review your finances on the first of every month.
  • Check your credit report with one of the three major agencies.
